Amazon launches an application for Kindle to read books without connection

Amazon released today Kindle Cloud Reader, an application that allows to read eBooks from the web browser on different devices, both online and without an internet connection and without downloads or installations.

The application, based on the language HTML5 allows users to access through your browser instantly to the catalog of electronic literature from Amazon, which offers its 950,000 books.

This tool is available from today for Safari - with a special for the iPad Tablet - and Chrome version, while the users of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Blackberry Playbook and other mobile browsers will have to wait for the "coming months" to use this tool.
